Kyndall was able to visit the Mars Primary Center yesterday. She absolutely loved it. The PC put on a "watermelon welcome." We got to meet the kindergarten teachers and staff as well as visit the computer lab and play on the playground. Awesome! Afterwards, we had Kyndall's IEP meeting. She will receive speech 1x/week, OT 1x/month and autistic support 2x/week. The autistic support is mainly to help her deal with her anxiety levels and perfectionism. She is doing great!
Craig then raced home to meet the heating/cooling man. We tried our AC on Monday and it did not work!
Susan from Butler county early intervention arrived around 4:15. We will be scheduling a developmental evaluation sometime next month.
I have enrolled Kyndall and Carissa in an infant-sibling autism study at the University of Pittsburgh. Kyndall will be evaluated to see if she is approved on June 13. She has to take an IQ test! Crazy!!
