What next?

We built our home in 2005. We already have had to had the furnace fixed last winter. The repairman was preplexed by what was wrong. He said, "I have never seen that part go bad." We just had to have our AC fixed. A part, known to be bad, went bad. Of course, it were are just outside our warranty through the builder so we have to pay almost $200! Now, our recessed lights in the family made a very LOUD popping nose and blew the fuse. The switch was extremely hot.... What's next??? Hopefully something minor! The joys of owning a home...especially one that apparently was poorly built!
